Starry Night Barn & Studios opened in the spring of 2017 as a premier wedding and events venue located on the Leelanau Peninsula in beautiful Suttons Bay, MI. Starry Night Barn has been respectfully renovated (and continues to be), maintaining its historic barn bones, with modern conveniences and full accommodations to meet all safety and code requirements. Starry Night Barn & Studios and Century Farm Cottages, our guest accommodations, are perfect for guests seeking a space that offers a slow-paced, relaxed environment to fully enjoy and experience every minute of your special event. We hope to offer our guests peace of mind and time to be with family and loved ones to share, reflect, and be in the moment.

Event season is just around the corner. All of these traditions- cultural and family specific, new and old, are beautiful imprints and lasting memories: the getting ready, love letters, first-looks, walking the aisle, dapper little dudes, dog-bearers, rings, vows, string serenades, bouquets and boutonnières, the gowns and suits, speeches, tablescapes and design details, first kisses and first dances, bubbles in the tub, your people all holding you up, mad-fun dance parties, dips and tosses, grand entrances and exits and so, so so much love!!
We’re nearing the end of stark, cold winter here in Leelanau- the hope and sight of warmer temps, blue skies and color is on the horizon. Every event season we look forward to seeing all of the imagining and planning unfold for each event as the style, colors, feel and spirit gets rolled out on display. The flowers and greens are always an anticipated favorite here, from bouquets, swags, runners, bud vases, tall arrangements, aisle runners, tree sashes, fence decor, framing for just about anything, chair backs, cakes, draping hold backs, photo booths (like the whole thing)! Champagne walls, signage, dog collars, corsages, and everything else that has yet to be dreamed up! Flowers set and reflect the tone and design of the event. We love joyful, flashy summer blooms to hush pastels, moody fall burgundies or whimsy boho designs of plumes and greens! This is a small sample of floral magic over the years.
