Ashley and Jacob's Fall Jackpot Wedding!
October 21, 2017 was straight of a fairy tale. Leelanau had hit its glory day for prime fall colors. The day started out slightly overcast with bursts of sunshine and then the skies cleared for Jacob and Ashley’s wedding ceremony, tucked down in a grassy field in front of the cleared path that opens to the hillside brimming with color. It was a slightly humid day, with temperatures that hovered around 70 degrees from morning ’til midnight. It was stunning. Jacob and Ashley celebrated with their close family and friends, danced the night away and stayed up late by the bonfire, cherishing each other in their first hours of being newly married. It was a giddy, perfect day and evening – one for the books!
Wedding Details
Ashley and Jacob’s wedding celebration featured both an amazing October day for a ceremony surrounded by fall colors and sunshine as well as a simple and stunning barn reception. Ashley is an architect and orchestrated the seating charts and layout in a perfect fit – long tables making a square around the perimeter of the barn center. And then candles. Of all shapes and sizes – 100’s of them. And no floral, with the exception of a few white big mums by the doors. It was breathtaking. Each place setting featured a personal pie and Betty’s Hot Dish, the TC-based food truck, prepared a buffet. Priceless Photography, led by the amazingly talented, Beth Price, documented the entire day.
